Who we are
Locals Only Park City ("Locals Only," "we," "us") is a membership program operated by Haus Enterprises LLC, a Utah limited liability company, doing business as Locals Only Park City. We give local residents and the local workforce of the Park City area access to discounts at participating local businesses. You can reach us anytime at paul@localsonlyparkcity.com.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the program:
- Account information — your name, email address, and membership type (local resident, local worker, or employer-sponsored) when you sign up.
- Employer-provided roster information — if your employer sponsors your membership, they provide us your name and work email so we can verify you when you sign up. See "Employer-provided data" below.
- Redemption activity — when and where you use your pass, so we can show you your savings and give participating businesses aggregate program statistics.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical data — standard log information (such as device type) needed to keep the service running and secure.
What we do with it
We use your information to provide your membership pass, verify your eligibility, record redemptions, and communicate with you about the program. That's it.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Participating businesses see aggregate numbers (for example, how many redemptions they had), not your personal activity. The only third parties that handle your data are the service providers we need to operate — currently Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payments), and Netlify (website hosting) — and they may only use it to provide those services to us.
Employer-provided data
When an employer sponsors memberships for their staff, they provide us a roster of employee names and work emails. Employers confirm they have the right to share that information with us. We use roster data for one purpose only: to verify and activate sponsored memberships. We never use it for marketing lists, and we never share or sell it. If you're on a roster and would like your information removed, email us and we'll delete it.
How your data is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase, encrypted in transit, with access limited to program administration. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we hold to a minimum precisely so there is less to protect.
Your rights and deletion
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data entirely. Email paul@localsonlyparkcity.com and we'll handle it promptly — no forms, no hoops.
Children
Locals Only is built for the working population of the Park City area and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, for meaningful changes, notify members by email. Continued use of the program after a change means you accept the updated policy.
